Melissa qualified in 2018 and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. In 2019, she worked as the primary physiotherapist at an out-patient clinic in Cape Town, where she gained experience in treating complex orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, managed a large population of chronic pain patients and enjoyed educating and supervising physiotherapy students. Furthermore, she managed post-surgical cases from Groote Schuur Hospital, as well as respiratory, geriatric and neurological conditions. In 2020, she went on to work at an out-patient practice associated with Panorama Medi-Clinic, Cape Town, where she treated a variety of patients and solidified her skills in managing sports and orthopedic injuries.
Melissa has since moved to the Cayman Islands, to pursue her passion in physiotherapy by joining Elevation Health and Physiotherapy.
She has a keen interest in managing headaches, jaw and neck pain, her post- graduate certification and Temporomandibular joint and orofacial physiotherapy, equips her to provide the most evidence- based care in this field.
Melissa has a post-graduate certificate in Dry Needling and in Aquatic therapy, she also completed her training as a BASI Pilates Mat Instructor. These post-graduate qualifications have equipped her to treat sports and orthopedic conditions, as well as other chronic pain and spine conditions in a holistic manner.
Melissa is a creative individual, who enjoys drawing and DIY projects. She is keen to get involved in the many activities Cayman has to offer such as snorkeling and paddle boarding.

Elzke graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand (WITS), Johannesburg, South Africa with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy in 2011 and has 8 years of experience as a Physiotherapist both in South Africa and the Cayman Islands.
During her time in South Africa Elzke had a successful sports and orthopedics outpatient practice, which equipped her with a large knowledge base and experience in this field. She completed her Orthopedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) qualification in 2013, making her part of a group of manipulative physical therapist around the world who have completed this post-graduation specialization.
Elzke loves treating headaches, neck pain, lower back pain and hip and pelvic pain, especially in patients who have previously been unsuccessful in achieving resolution or understanding of their pain and symptoms.
However, her ultimate passion is the management pelvic pain and dysfunction in both men and women.
Combining her extensive training and experience in musculoskeletal conditions, her post-graduate Pelvic Health Certification and her own personal struggle with chronic pelvic pain Elzke is fully equipped to offer expert solutions for pelvic health conditions.
Her qualifications in dry needling, sports taping, clinical Pilates (BASI), and Pregnancy exercise instruction enhance her skill set for treating musculoskeletal conditions and pelvic health conditions holistically.
Elzke is a keen triathlete and has completed a few 70.3 Half Ironman races, along with several cycling races and half marathons. She also enjoys the watersports Cayman has to offer such as Scuba diving and Wakeboarding.
Elzke Partnered with EHP Ltd. with the aim of providing comprehensive Physiotherapy care with a strong focus on manual therapy and to provide specialized Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. She focuses on the the integration of Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates to deliver effective, evidence-based treatments.

Mike Graduated from The University of the Witwatersrand in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and from University College London with a Master of Science in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health in 2018. He has 17 years of experience as a physiotherapist in a wide variety of physiotherapy areas, predominantly sports exercise and rehabilitation in South Africa, England and Dubai.
During his time in South Africa Mike worked in a vibrant out patient and hospital practice while working for and supplying physiotherapy services to numerous sports teams including The Springboks, The Proteas, The Kaizer Chiefs and the Black Caps.
He then moved to England in 2008 to pursue a carrier as a team physiotherapist in the English Football League. During his time he had numerous roles ranging from Academy Physiotherapist, First Team Physiotherapist to Head of Medical Services with teams including Tottenham Hotspurs FC, Brentford FC, Leyton Orient FC and Rotherham United FC.
After 10 years of working in professional sport he decided to progress his career in Dubai by working as a rehab specialist and physiotherapist for Emirates Airline. By applying the same clinical and management techniques adapted to aviation to achieve adequate rehab and recovery of injuries sustained to cabin crew and pilots. During his time in Dubai Mike was a regular speaker at The Burjeel Medical Aviation Conference and worked as the physiotherapist for the UAE National Rugby Team over a 5 year timeframe.
Mike has a vested interest in sports, exercise and functional rehabilitation. His process has been redefined over the years to be able to fit most injuries sustained in numerous different sectors.
Mike is a keen sportsman and loves Tennis, Hockey, Squash, Functional Training and Middle Distance Running. During his many years playing sport he has recovered from numerous injuries along the way which helps him understand the process of injury management and progression back to normal function.
